Konami appoint new Director of System Sales; Pokerstars about to hit 70 Billionth hand

Konami Gaming

Konami GamingSlot machines and casino management systems provider, Konami Gaming, has appointed a new Director of System Sales and Marketing.

The lucky chap that the Las Vegas based company deemed was just right for the job is Clark A. Warren. In this position he will be responsible for systems sales and marketing initiatives. He will also focus on new business development and building strategic relationships for Konami Gaming – who are a subsidiary of Konami Corporation, renowned for Dance Dance Revolution for the PlayStation.

So why was Warren the man chosen for such a role? Well, not only because he can burn his way through a PlayStation dance mat in a matter of days, but he has more than 20 years of gaming experience. Why else? Most recently, he served as a Director of Sales, Southern Nevada and Arizona at International Game Technology (IGT) for over a decade. During this time, Warren worked as a Director in both the systems and games divisions – making him even more perfect for the job.

Chief Operating Officer at Konami Gaming, Steve Sutherland, said: “We are very pleased to have Clark join Konami Gaming, Inc. His diverse professional background in gaming and technology makes him an ideal candidate to lead our Konami Casino Management System (KCMS) sales and marketing efforts.”
While Warren pops open the champagne bottle, many PokerStars gamers are preparing to do the same.
