After recently launching its Android trading app in Australia, CFD provider IG Markets has now unveiled a new trading app for the Singapore market.
The move is a key initiative by the company to solidify their position in the Singapore mobile market. The app is available free of charge from the Android market and allows IG Markets’ clients to place CFD trades on a wide range of markets, as well as view their open positions and watchlists, access real-time balance information, and generate a variety of charts amongst other things.
Peter McDermott, managing director of IG Markets in Singapore said in the news release: “The Android app is an addition to our existing suite of mobile trading apps, which include iPhone, BlackBerry and Nokia apps…Our Android app gives clients a range of mobile functions equivalent to our award-winning trading platform, PureDeal, and is available across our extensive range of CFD markets, including forex, shares, stock indices, commodities and more.”
Prospective traders can also access live market data, as well as an account application process tailor-made for Android handsets.
McDermott added: “It is our commitment to give our clients the best possible CFD trading tools, regardless of whether they trade from an iPhone, Android, BlackBerry or browser.”
