What’s the most Tequila you’ve ever seen in one single place?
I’m sure some of us have had those Tequila nights where bottle after bottle went down the hatchet, of course, you don’t usually remember those nights-sometimes you don’t want to at all.
If you like tequila and if you’ve ever been to the Flamingo on the Las Vegas Strip, you might remember it for the World Series of Beer Pong or you’ll remember it’s home to Buffet’s Margaritaville restaurant. Now, the Margaritaville Casino at the Flamingo is set to open Oct. 1 as a 15,000-square-foot casino inspired by the lyrics of singer Jimmy Buffett, complete with indoor palm trees and tropical colors.
As cool as Jimmy Buffet is, that’s not the best part of this opening.
To celebrate its grand opening, the Margaritaville Casino plans to create the world’s largest margarita. Guinness World Records officials will even be on hand to watch as the casino mixes what will be a massive 8,500 gallon beverage starting on Oct. 11.
This margarita will be the mother of all margaritas and for a tequila lover, this drink is a fantasy come to life.
It is estimated that the giant drink will contain more than 2,000 gallons of tequila!
I guess the obvious question is whether the Margaritaville Casino makes those for delivery.
