Less than a month ago, Amaya Gaming put the finishing touches on a deal to acquire Canada’s Chartwell Technology Inc for a total consideration of around CDN$22.77million. Amaya saw the acquisition as an opportunity to leverage the acquired technologies and resulting synergies to expand its footprint in the government-regulated interactive gaming space.
The company has taken another step in that directive as Chartwell Technology Inc has now launched three new slot games, bringing the company’s total year-to-date game release to thirty-two, but these are the first games launched under the Amaya banner.
After last month’s release of the popular games Vampires vs Werewolves, Chartwell has now launched three new games including: Call of the Colosseum, Thundering Zeus and Lost Temple – the first set of games released as part of Chartwell’snew ownership structure under Amaya Gaming.
Chartwell COO David Acorn said in the release, “Summer doesn’t slow us down…Not only are we hitting our product release targets from a numbers perspective, we’re delivering high quality slot games that balance the important elements of entertainment value and game performance…We’re excited to showcase our fresh, exciting portfolio of games at EiG in September as we integrate our business into the operations of Amaya Gaming.”
