New appointments at Sunplus and PokerStars

lee richardsonLeading sportsbook platform provider Sunplus has made two new appointments to their team. iGaming industry stalwart Lee Richardson (left) joins the Isle of Man (IOM) based company as the European Sales Director. Most recently the chief executive at Boylesports, Lee has also held positions at Chartwell, Tote Direct, British Horseracing Board, and Totalbet. Richardson’s appointment is a shrewd one and should see the ONEbook turnkey platform go from strength to strength.

Sunplus also announced that Guy Garrard has joined the company as IOM General Manager. The position will see him responsible for corporate matters on a Europe-wide basis. He has spent most of his working career in the financial sector as a commercial banker.

Pokerstars logoElsewhere in the world of iGaming jobs, PokerStars have announced that Eric Hollreiser has joined the firm as Head of Corporate Communications. His career as a journalist and a veteran of the communications industry has seen him take senior positions at a number of different companies. He was a senior executive at Microsoft, Disney and Activision, and co-founder of T2 Group. International Man of Mystery or what!?!

Hollreiser’s responsibilities will see him execute all manner of different communications including internal and corporate. His remit extends to managing the firms corporate social responsibility, which extends to social media and talent communications.

According to the release the appointment is the result of an extensive six-month international search where they scoured the globe in the search for the ultimate in media relations. It again goes to show that many companies are still taking their contact with the media very seriously unlike one firm that we highlighted earlier on this week.
