Bingo.com has announced the appointment of a new President and CEO in the hope that they’ll continue to grow. Jason Williams, who has been with the popular bingo site since 2001, and he takes over the role from the incumbent Tarnie Williams. Tarnie will stay on as chairman of the board and following the appointment commented, “The board and I agree that the time has come for Jason Williams to assume the roles of President and CEO of Bingo.com. Jason, a member of the management team since 2001, has been leading our operations in Europe for the past four years as Bingo.com’s Vice President of Business Development and Marketing Director. We’re confident Jason has the skills, vision, and experience to make Bingo.com a success. I look forward to working with Jason in the years to come and will continue to assist him in my role as Chairman.”
Ebba Ljungerud, Head of Maria Bingo, was also elected to the firm’s board of directors at the Annual General Meeting held at The Valley, Anguilla.
Not wanting to be left out, Boylesports announced a new member of the team. Sharon Byrne will be the new Commercial Director and comes with some resume. She has gained 15 years experience in the industry as an independent bookmaker and chair of the Irish Bookmaker Association. On the appointment, John Boyle, Boylesports founder and CEO, said, “This appointment is a real coup for Boylesports and Sharon will be a tremendous addition to the senior management team, bringing a wealth of experience with her. This appointment signals our continued desire to employ the very best people and we’re delighted to welcome Sharon, who brings the perfect mix of betting and commercial expertise to the company.”
