gov-christie-sticks-to-gunsWhether New Jersey will be the first US state to get online gaming is still up in the air as we enter the day of reckoning.

Governor Chris Christie did give a press conference at 11am EST today but chose to discuss other areas that are more pressing than the proposals to allow intra-state gambling in the state.

In the press briefing he reserved most of his discussion for educational reform and the economy and stuck to his guns when it comes to what is top of his priorities list for the state he governs.

He has until midnight tonight to make the decision on whether the bill will become law and it’s still unclear as to whether he’ll decide to veto the law. Christie may even choose to make no decision that will mean the bill goes through automatically.
