A lot to be decided in this weekend’s football

wenger-and-fergie

wenger-and-fergieThese days in the football leagues around the world, it seems they’re trying to extend the weekend by an extra day. Don’t get us wrong, we’d be happier than most were it to extend into Monday, but for some reason having the biggest games on the first night of the week doesn’t really feel that right. Friday night with beer in hand and after party booked would be a far more attractive proposition and both manager’s might need a stiff drink ahead of the clash between Man Utd and Arsenal on Monday.

Inflammatory remarks have already been made by United left back Patrice Evra about the lack of titles in recent years for Wenger’s side, and as the top two sides in the division this could go a long way to deciding the destination of this season’s trophy.

Elsewhere Chelsea look to end a run that has seen them pick up no wins from their past four league games, as they visit Tottenham, on a weekend where the lead is likely to change on more than one occasion.

Stan James has a number of specials concerning Chelsea and this week’s games. You can bet on the next time Chelsea win a game in the league where the odds are as follows: Spurs (A) (12/12) 13/8 Man U (H) (19/12) 5/2, Arsenal (A) 27/12) 6/1, Bolton (H) (29/12) 4/1, and not until 2011 11/1. The other bet that you can take them up on is who will be top of the league come Monday night with Man Utd favourites at 10/11, Arsenal 5/4 and outsiders Chelsea at 7/1.
