Since when did it cost money to just ogle Vegas eye candy?

Shake it, don't break it!
These days in Vegas casinos are taking the scantily clad eye candy girls out of the launge and putting them on platforms above the blackjack tables. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Las Vegas party pits and I like looking a trim as much as the next man, but if just looking at trim is lowering my payout, I’ll pass on the trim. Feel me?

As long as you can remember, getting a blackjack, or 21, on your first two cards has paid 3:2. So, if you’re playing at a $10 table, that means you get $15 plus your original $10 back, not in the party pits though. In the party pits at many casinos, the house snatches away that player’s edge in favor of a 6-5 payout where you get $12 plus your original $10. It equates to a 20% difference in your payout, but there’s a lot of gentelement staring at double D’s and perky bubble butts that don’t seem to give a shit.

That’s all fine and dandy, but the bottom line according to Anthony Curtis, president of LasVegasAdvisor.com, is “Looking at pretty girls is going to cost you more to play.” Of course for the casual gambler who’s just in it for fun and games it’s no big deal. But for the old school cat, the cat prefers his casinos to have low class girls and high payouts, the party pit is damn near sacrelidge.

To me it all depends on what you’re looking for. Vegas has always catered to every need. Then again, I tend to feel like if my payout is going to be 20% lower in the party pit, should I at least get a second rate lap dance at the same time?
