Client acquisitions gives WorldSpreads a boost

It wasn’t too long ago that WorldSpreads Group has announced that its WorldSpreads Limited subsidiary had signed a deal that would enable it to provide services to the online sportsbook 188Bet.com.

Now the leading spread betting provider WorldSpreads has reported that since the company’s year end in March, trading activity has continued to grow strongly. Both new client acquisitions and increased bet numbers have continued to accelerate which has led to an increase in top line revenues when compared to the same period last year.

WorldSpreads said that the growth during the six month period up until the end of September resulted in an increase in top line revenues when compared to the same period last year, which saw revenues amount to £6.04m. The company has been focused primarily on building infrastructure by investing in IT and human resources infrastructure and sales and marketing plans to help bolster their international and UK expansion initiatives.

To date, the company maintains that their building initiatives are both on schedule and on budget, and expects their efforts will facilitate sustainable growth and allow WorldSpreads to meet or exceed the challenging targets that it has set for the current financial year and in the medium to long term future.
