Cantor Gaming, an affiliate of the global financial services company Cantor Fitzgerald, has announced an exclusive deal that will see it operate the existing race and sportsbook for Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel And Casino.

The Las Vegas-based firm revealed that the deal will see it initially integrate its In-Running technology into the Hard Rock Hotel And Casino’s existing race and sportsbook with the aim of launching ‘upon regulatory approval’ while the pair are also set to begin work on a new bespoke facility slated to open in the spring.
“Cantor Gaming has created an entirely new and exciting approach to betting on sports,” said Joseph Magliarditi, President and Chief Executive Officer for Hard Rock Hotel And Casino.
“Instead of the action stopping once the game gets under way, with In-Running that’s precisely when the action starts. This opens up a whole world of opportunities and we’re pleased to be able to offer this innovation to our customers.” Cantor Gaming agreed earlier this year to install its eDeck mobile gaming system in the Hard Rock Hotel And Casino with this new system also set to launch ‘upon regulatory approval’. Once given the green light, wagering methods are set to include a wireless system, which means that patrons will not be physically bound to the sportsbook.
“With the innovations in technology today, information is available at the touch of a button,” said Lee Amaitis, President and Chief Executive Officer for Cantor Gaming.
“We can receive news and data in an instant, manage our finances online and send text and video around the world in real-time via mobile phones.
“Our In-Running system applies this generation of technology to sports wagering. Gone are the days when you could only bet on a sporting event by lining up at the window before the games started. Now you can trade sports in the same way you trade the financial markets. Our technology has made sports wagering dynamic, interactive and, most importantly, relevant to today’s casino customers.”
