When the current Massachusetts legislative session came to an end last Saturday night with no signature from Gov. Deval Patrick on the state’s casino/racino bill, the issue looked to be deader than a doornail. But because of a need to process some unrelated Federal funding, legislators are headed back to the office for a special session, raising the possibility that the bill could be brought back onto the playing field for one last Hail Mary attempt.
