The same cannot be said for a 25-year-old man in Mumbai, who fell to his death from the fourth floor of a building after cops raided a suspected gambling den. In another deadly Indian gambling bust in Kanpur, a 18-year-old man drowned in a river while fleeing police. In both cases, angry locals have turned out to demonstrate against the cops for their heavyhanded approach to what are considered victimless crimes.
