It’s hard to tell whether this one’s serious or not. The report that police ‘stumbled across’ an illegal gambling game in the back of a shopping centre in Columbus, Georgia sounds a lot like either a cover-up, or a bunch of Keystone Kops acting out an episode of Reno 911.
Gambling took place on video gambling machines at a shopping centre next to a Walmart, inside an unmarked unit that could ‘not be seen from the road.’ I’m sure someone working nearby would have suspicions of this ‘unmarked room,’ and I hear there’s software called Google Earth where you can view whole areas from above! The perpetrators need not worry though; online gambling will hopefully be legalised shortly. Read more.
