The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, the non-profit, independent organisation in charge of assigning domain names and IP addresses, has approved a proposal to create a new suffix specifically for pornographic sites. The designation of .xxx as a grouping for adult-oriented and sexual sites may usher in a new future domain for online gambling sites.
