Icelandic ash-holes: fresh eruption to cause travel chaos?

VolcanoOkay, Iceland, we get it. You were the first nation to experience this latest round of catastrophic bank failure, and that got you more attention than you’ve had since Björk went batshit on that journo at the airport. But now that everyone’s attention has turned to the ongoing debacle in Greece, Iceland is acting like the troubled middle child who will do anything to get attention. Case in point…

Because last month’s volcanic eruption was such an attention-getter, what with the shutting down of all European air travel and all, Iceland has decided to release a sequel. Already, 16 airports in Spain (including international hub Barcelona) have been affected, as well as airports in northern Italy, and UK flights to Portugal and Milan have been grounded.

Everyone flying to the upcoming iGaming Super Show (which gets a proper kick-off with the CalvinAyre.com launch party in Prague May 25th) should make sure to keep an eye on CalvinAyre.com for regular ash updates.
