Left out of most of Manchester United’s key Champions League games he then gets grief for not delivering when he is finally asked to dust off his boots and start a game because Wayne Rooney’s injured. To add insult to injury the bookmakers have slashed the odds on the misfiring Bulgarian not being at United next season and, worse still, returning to Tottenham.
