I know there weren’t many people there last year. I know that Prague is right around the corner. I know your budget is tight, and I know it’s hard to justify the trip to your boss. I know, I know, I know. However, I also know that Amsterdam is one of the greatest cities on earth, smaller shows can be great for networking, the Krasnapolsky f’n rocks, CAP has nothing to do with this, its free for all affiliates, and smoking pot and hookers are legal. It’s a no brainer, right? For those of you who are not yet convinced, I’ll give you five excellent reasons why you really cannot miss the 8th annual Casino Affiliate Convention…so get your butt to Amsterdam April 14-17 and join me for some igaming fun, even if you have to use your own money to get there!
5) Ask Calvin video!
Got a question you want to ask Calvin? Want your 10 seconds of fame? I have some great news for you…come to CAC Amsterdam and you can live both of these dreams at the exact same time! Just what you’ve always wanted, right? For the first time ever, the CalvinAyre.com crew wants to film you asking Calvin a burning question, but please make it a good one…the juicier and more embarrassing for him, the better! My favorite “Ask Calvin” so far is the “Why don’t you get married”, so get those creative juices flowing and come up with something even better to ask him, I dare you.
4) SEO, SEO, Gary Beal, and more SEO
Here it is guys, your golden excuse for coming. Everyone could use a little SEO education, my SEO interview with Bob Rains is one of the most popular posts on CalvinAyre.com for the love of god, so why not come to Amsterdam and learn about SEO? CAC organizer Marc Lesnik has announced that there will be a “battery of SEO experts” speaking, aka Gary Beal and his Vanguard SEO entourage, covering advanced strategies on SEO for casino, poker and sports with a focus on the EU and Eastern European countries. Gary and crew will also be leading “Super-Affiliate Level SEO Strategies for Online Gaming” sessions, so clearly we’re all going to come home SEO experts earning thousands of dollars a day. That is, if Gary actually shows up this time. Ha ha! I’m just kidding.
3) Euro Pub and surrounding bars
Who doesn’t love the Euro Pub? Ahh, the memories…simply exit the Krasnapolsky, take about 10 steps to your right, and there it is. This is what I love about CAC Amsterdam- good times can be found just a short walk away, and you never know what’s going to pop up around the corner. For example, last year during CAC, we boozed with Ice Cube, E-40 and his posse at the Euro Pub right in the middle of the day. Later in the night we walked two minutes down the road to a sports bar that is open late night and conveniently located across from a condom store. Then walked two minutes back to the Krasnapolsky, sat in the lobby eating Gyros and fries, and caught all the late night misbehavior as conference attendees stumbled back into the hotel, many two by two might I add.
2) Smokin’ pot, sex toys, sex shows and hookers
You know what, forget the bars. The true beauty of the Krasnapolsky is that it’s located right on the periphery of Amsterdam’s infamous Red Light District. You can legally smoke pot in the local “coffee shops”, you can learn about and then buy the sex toy of your dreams at a sex toy shop, you can watch live porn at a near by sex show, and you can get lucky as many times as you want with the hooker(s) of your choice. In fact, I will be filming a “smoke-off” at a local coffee shop on Saturday 17 April, so if you’re interested in participating in this very serious shoot, let me know- the more the merrier. Not into smokin’ pot, sex toys, sex shows and hookers? No problem! You can still window shop.

Last year you woke up to J Todd every morning, this year you will wake up to J Todd and I together each morning. Yep, all you have to do is turn on the TV and we’ll be there waiting for you, providing you with the day’s conference schedule and night’s party agenda. I am especially looking forward to our opening video, a very true to life scenario highlighting a day in the life of J Todd at APCW and a day in the life of Becky at CalvinAyre.com.
