The logistics behind the bill are simple enough, you can’t legislate morality. Senator Mark Madsen, not to be confused with the former dancing Lakers Mad Dog Madsen, is sponsoring a bill to exempt casino gambling from the state’s do-not-contact registry designed to protect kids from porn solicitations and other adult oriented business. The bill has raised some paranoia, with fears that children will be invited to gamble. Simple fact, casinos don’t want to solicit children, why? Because they’re not of age to gamble!
