HawaiianCoconutAs legislators in Hawaii ponder the introduction of legal gambling on the island chain, proponents are touting the many ways in which they could cut in on Las Vegas’ action. Aside from eliminating the need for residents to fly off to Nevada, Asian high-rollers would have a far lesser distance to travel to get their gaming kicks. Bonus ‘so illogical it hurts’ factoid: despite the fact that all gambling is currently illegal, anti-gambling Hawaiians are claiming that making gaming legal would increase crime.
