It was a beautiful night in London for the third annual British Poker Awards, an event dedicated to the success of British poker players, personalities and poker companies. A total of seventeen awards were presented on board the HMS President in London complete with a pre and post cocktail reception which successfully kept nominees, friends and fans sufficiently lubricated throughout the celebration.
In true crowd pleaser form, Bluff Europe’s Michael Caselli kept the presentation of seventeen awards to a minimum time scale while he joked with his co-presenter Grub Smith, popular TV and poker presenter.
The ultimate star of the award ceremony was clearly Sam Trickett, recipient of three of the most coveted awards, not a surprise to anyone who follows the British poker community.
