After receiving regulatory approval for the service earlier this month, Two Way Limited has officially launched its TAB ACTIVE interactive TV betting service in South Australia with the TV betting service live and already available to take bets.
The TV betting service launched in partnership with Tatts Group subsidiary TattsBet Limited allows viewers of all three Sky Racing channels on Foxtel to use the service to access all of the current day’s racing and wagering information.
“Sky Racing and Foxtel have also teamed up for a special promotion for racing fans this weekend, with all three Sky Racing channels to be available to all Foxtel subscribers at no extra charge…TAB ACTIVE users can switch between the three channels without exiting the interactive service,” said Two Way’s CEO and managing director, Ben Reichel.
Reichel added, “We are very pleased to offer the benefits of our TV wagering service to TattsBet customers in South Australia…The service has been enjoyed by Tabcorp customers in Victoria since April 2008 and in New South Wales since October 2008, and by TattsBet customers in Queensland since April 2011.”
The approval in South Australia is subject to the review of the performance of the service after a twelve-month pilot trial period and a review is to be submitted in South Australia by May 31st 2012.
