Stan James: refunds all round if Manchester City win the title
Good on Stan James. Not only has it given Manchester City a good dissing for being the tasteless, title-buying, embarrassing excuse for a football club that they are, but it has also come up with a good PR stunt to convince Manchester United fans and others to bet on its Premier League title market rather than go elsewhere.
If City win the title the bookmaker has vowed to refund all winning outright title bets. It’s a sound move because for all their millions Man City are very unlikely to win the title this year as Roberto Mancini will have his hands full with all those toys thrown out of the pram by the myriad prima donnas pissed off that they can’t get in the side at Eastlands despite being on £200,000 a week.
