Economist report: Sceptical America is lagging behind on gambling

economist-gambling-reportThe Economist has launched a special report into gambling this month, revealing the “profound and multilayered American scepticism of online gambling”. Though it doesn’t teach us anything new, it does highlight two key flaws in the US stance; namely, “the laws may be muddled, but people are betting anyway, even where it is illegal to do so,” and, “clearly prohibition fails to prevent citizens who want to gamble from doing so.” Question is, will most US states recognise the error of their ways and legalise gambling?
