So, after months of waffling over whether or not they’d awarded Ascot Sports a license to legally offer sports betting to non-Muslims, Malaysian authorities bowed to religious fundamentalists’ demands and Ascot was told to go fuck themselves — a decision that sent Ascot’s parent company’s shares sharply downward, but hey, they’re evil for allying themselves with gamblers, so fuck ‘em twice. So guess what Malaysian authorities are complaining about now? How about the fact that punters are gambling online illegally?
