The US authorities can finally use some of their time constructively, after a British judge ruled that Marcus Bebb-Jones can be extradited to face trial for murder. The poker player accused of the killing his wife in the United States, dumping her body and then spending her money during a “playboy” weekend in Las Vegas had resisted deportation on the grounds that he could face the death penalty in Colorado or have his human rights breached because he might face an immutable sentence of life without parole – which would just be plain unfair, wouldn’t it?
