For companies working in the online gambling sector, filling vacant positions with the right personnel can be a daunting task. Just ask Richard Mortimer, VP of HR at software supplier Orbis: “During our interview process, we like to put pressure on candidates. It often weeds out people who can’t cope with change. It surprises me sometimes how people manage to screw up an interview when you put them under a bit of pressure.” Richard didn’t come right out and say they routinely waterboarded prospective employees, but perhaps that bit was redacted from the published text.
