The Story
The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has wants the Nevada Gaming Commission to deprive Steve Wynn, the former CEO and chairman of Wynn Resorts, of his license to conduct gaming in the state. In its complaint, the NGCB said Wynn is “unsuitable” to retain his gaming license due to his having “repeatedly violated Nevada’s gaming statutes and regulations, bringing discredit upon the state of Nevada and its gaming industry.” The claims in the complaint stemmed from the sexual harassment allegations that were first made public in 2018. In addition to revoking Steve’s license, the NGCB also wants the NGC to impose a financial penalty on Wynn for each of the violations charged against him.
