Macau casinos beat analysts’ expectations after posting an increase in its gaming revenue for August. Macau’s Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) showed local casino operators generated gaming revenue of MOP26.5b (US$3.3b), a 17.1% improvement over the same month last year. The number was higher than what analysts initially pegged for August at 15%-17% growth.
