The Story

BetVictor and Global Poker are under fire for exposing sensitive client data, which include administrative login details, passwords, and bank statements.

The security breaches were easily discovered by experts.

In a Medium.com post, Chris Hogben detailed how logins and passwords on BetVictor can be easily accessed by any visitor who entered the right criteria into the site’s search function. On the other hand, GlobalPoker’s security flaw was exposed after a customer discovered a survey which contains a direct link to a bank statement in an unprotected website. BetVictor did not comment on their security breach while Global Poker said that they have installed an additional security measure to protect their patrons.
