You can't teach the beast. It's either in you or it isn't. You can't just go to the store and buy a six-pack of beast.

Bitcoin just keep making it rain!

The Story

Bitcoin is on a roll as political scandals in US and Brazil have sent the price of Bitcoin to a new high.

Political scandals what? Talk to me first about the US.

Okay. Remember US President Donald Trump sacking his FBI director James Comey? This move has sent the US government spiraling into chaos as Comey’s firing could set off a number of legal charges against The Donald. In turn, bitcoin rose 3.5 percent as major stock markets dropped.

Trump truly is a gift that keeps on giving.

To bitcoin users, he is. In other aspects, I’d rather not comment. Anyway, Brazil is also not having a good week as Brazilian President Michel Temer is in hot water for supposedly bribing a former official in an attempt to stop him from testifying in a major corruption case. This sent shockwaves to Brazil’s stock market with Bovespa dropping more than 8 percent—it’s worst day in almost nine years.

Anything else?

Well, analysts also credited the increased demand from Japan and South Korea for driving bitcoin’s price higher. Bitcoin trade volume in Japan rose by four percent (from 36 percent to 40 percent) while South Korea posted a 0.6 percent bitcoin trade volume increase (from 5 percent to 5.6 percent).

Takeaway

If you haven’t been involved in bitcoin, better start now or risk being left out in the digital currency’s continued rise.
