Two Peruvian nationals were arrested in Madrid for an alleged robbery in a casino in South Korea.

The Story
A group consisting of two Peruvians and a Hong Kong national have allegedly robbed the Kangwon Land casino in South Korea by opening a slot machine cash box and then taking off with around 24 million won ($20,000). The group entered the country using fake passports and were on their way to Bangkok just a few hours after the heist has been committed. From there, they took another flight that had a short layover in Doha, Qatar and then arrived at their final destination in Madrid, Spain. Having left a trail of international breadcrumbs, law enforcement had plenty of time to track them down and the two Peruvians were reportedly arrested as soon as they tried to pass through border control at the Madrid-Barajas International Airport. The two are now in custody and are waiting to be extradited back to South Korea but the Hong Kong accomplice remains at large.
