Gaming solutions provider Com Trade has signed a deal with Belgian land-based arcade machine and games supplier Pascual Games. Under the terms of the agreement, will see the delivery of a complete online gaming platform that will include ComTrade’s Remote Game Server, which allows operators to integrate new content quicker and gain more control over their players’ online experience. Naturally, the platform will also allow Pascual’s arcade games to be played on the new online platform.
This move marks Pascual Games first entry into the online gaming space, but it’s clearly the right move. Sticking with land-based arcade games for the long term makes about as much business sense as sticking with a land-based DVD rental outfit, right Blockbuster?
Serge De Gezelle of Pascual Games said in the release “We believe that this new platform will be a great addition to our online business growth and help Pascual Games distribute its vast range of games to a wider audience.”
“ComTrade’s iGaming platform was the missing piece and will enable us to provide superior products to our clients and support the development of our strategy for online gaming,” De Gezelle of Pascual Games added.
Comtrade’s head of gaming, Ales Gornjec commented in the release regarding how Com Trade was a perfect partner for the Belgian company given their legislative structure, “Our iGaming platform with its modular approach has proven to be a superior choice, especially in regulated markets where time and flexibility are of the essence.”
