This year, and for many to come, iGaming will be a topic that won’t be far from the minds of those in North America that matter. It only feels apt then that there should be a conference taking place in the US looking at all facets of the iGaming industry.
From May 2-4, iGaming North America’s spring conference takes place at the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, under the tagline “The Road to Regulation”.
Produced by BolaVerde Media Group, Lewis and Roca, and The Innovation Group, the inaugural event is aimed at helping land-based gaming businesses to network with those in the iGaming industry and be educated in this sector.
The event is ideal for those from the iGaming industry, as well as the land-based sector, and also anyone from the lottery, racing, sports betting, and skill game sectors is encouraged to attend.
In addition to a list of esteemed exhibitors from all parts of the industry, there will also be a number of scheduled sessions taking place on May 3-4, taking the shape of panel discussions, lectures, workshops, and case studies.
Speakers are yet to be announced for these sessions but already they’ve been split up into a number of different tracks so that attendees can choose the best sessions for themselves. Titled marketing strategies, implementation, and policy/compliance, they’ll aim to give the most rounded view on the iGaming industry ahead of any regulation that takes place over the coming 12 months.
Looking at the sessions in more detail, there will an operators roundtable, a look at why affiliate marketing is so important in the iGaming industry, a glimpse at New Jersey, Internet poker, and the links between online gaming and social networks.
Probably the most important of the tracks for prospective operators regards policy/compliance, which will look at the US federal outlook, state policy review, the aspects of Internet gaming regulations, and payment processing.
Then if you feel that your company could benefit from the opportunities the iGaming business presents, then you’d be hard pressed to turn down a trip to the city of sin to find out.
