If the third annual Eastern European Gaming Summit was any indication of what the future will hold, then the forecast is a bright one for the EEGS. Building on the success of the last year’s event, the fourth annual Eastern European Gaming Summit will take place 17-20 October 2011 at the Sofia Bulgaria Inter Expo Center.
With the support of the Bulgarian Gaming Association, EEGS is looking forward to being the place where the gaming and entertainment industry can present the latest achievements not only in the Eastern Europe and South Eastern region, but also from all over the world.
Building on Success…
Last year the Eastern European Gaming Summit featured top specialists from international consultant companies, national and international institutions including Bulgarian Institute of Metrology and Bulgarian State Commission on Gambling. The Summit was opened by Kaloyan Krastev, the Chairman of the Commission.
Last year’s event featured a traditional focus on European countries and included presentations made by the Gaming Associations of Serbia, Croatia, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Republic of Macedonia, Austria, Germany and Poland. One of the major topics for discussion was the changes in the regulatory environment. The presentations outlined the challenges and opportunities each country had in regards to the industry in 2010 and forecasts were presented for the upcoming year.
Contributing to the popular understanding of the gaming industry was discussed in a round-table format which brought together experience from the US and reputable national PR specialists.
Organizers expect to top last year’s success. This event should be circled on the calendar of every gaming professional and business, particularly those in Eastern Europe. To learn more on how to register for this event click here.
