Game 2 was very different from the opening game of the series and it may be indicative of how the rest of this series will be played out. Tight checking, big hits, and a whole lot of the rough stuff in front of the nets looks to be the norm from here on out. The pesky Blackhawks have found ways to win, but the Flyers could easily be up 2-0 instead of down two games in this series. Even though the Flyers have already come back in these playoffs from a 3-0 deficit, they certainly don’t want to find themselves in that predicament in the Stanley Cup Final. You would think that game 3 in Philadelphia will see the best performance from the Flyers in the series, but can they solve Niemi? Perhaps the biggest question for the Flyers is their goaltender Michael Leighton who has been outplayed by Niemi thus far in this series. Perhaps homecooking is just what the doctor ordered, I’m willing to put my money on the boys from Philly in this one because I really expect that top line of the Flyers and Chris Pronger to have huge bounce back game.
