When Phil Ivey qualified for the WSOP final table, many people said it would be the best thing for poker if he won. They thought that if the world’s biggest poker tournament was won by one of the game’s most famous players, the exposure could do great things for the game. However, Ivey was eliminated and the title instead went to 21-year-old newcomer Joe Cada. After his big win, people weren’t sure about this young player and how he’d handle his new found fame.
