The European Poker Tour will be heading to the Emerald Isle after PokerStars unveiled their Season 12 roster, and it contains a trip to Dublin.
It’s adios London and Deauville, and top of the morning to Dublin, as PokerStars ring out the changes in their latest incarnation of the European Poker Tour.
The 12th season of European poker’s most illustrious festival will kick off in the Catalan capital of Barcelona: Aug 19-30, 2015. It’s by far the most popular stop of the whole tour, and will once again summon the largest field sizes in European poker.
From there it’s another visit to Malta. The EPT made history when hosting 69 events during their inaugural Season 11 visit (a record currently being broken in Monte Carlo), and the presence of the Global Poker Masters (GPM), and European Poker Awards (EPA), added to the glitterati of the whole thing. EPT Malta will take place Oct 21-31, 2015.
The annual Christmas jaunt to Prague remains. Dec 6-16, 2015 is the date to play around in the snow, and you can get a little warmer when the EPT does its play date with the Caribbean thanks to the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) Jan 6-14, 2016.
Then it’s time for something a little new. Irish poker is always bristling, and the choice of Dublin as a venue will be music to poker player’s ears. EPT Dublin will take place Feb 10-20, 2016; with action taking place at the Royal Dublin Society venue, and the EPT Grand Final will finish things off Apr 26 – May 6, 2016.
The press release states “Six destinations have been confirmed so far, with a seventh to be determined for March.”
Where would you want that to be held?
PokerStars LIVE Opens in Saint-Vincent
Will Saint Vincent be the surprise March venue?
The resort and casino has recently agreed a deal with PokerStars to open a specially branded PokerStars LIVE cardroom inside the Casino de la Vallee.
The event is already open for business, and Team PokerStars Pro, Luca Pagano, told the press that it was a “must-go place for Italy’s poker lover.” Saint Vincent is located in Northwestern Italy, and becomes the fourth PokerStars LIVE cardroom to open behind London, Manila, and Macau.
