Returning in its sixth year to the centre of the iGaming universe, London, Bullet Business’ Legal Gaming in Europe Conference will be back for those looking to cement their position in existing markets or devising a strategy to enter new markets.
Taking place on 23-24 January at the Millenium Mayfair Hotel, in the heart of the capital, those present will hear direct from the regulators themselves on legislation in their jurisdiction, from the lawyers fighting infringement cases and operators on their outlook for regulation across Europe and the business challenges they are tackling.
The gaming conference itself, popular with all past attendees, will consist of five different sessions, all tailored to different areas of the European gaming landscape and helpful at whichever level companies might be operating.
Session one is entitled “Determine the value of the Green Paper” and will enable attendees to work alongside the experts. It will assess whether the European Commission is on track to establish a harmonised EU-wide framework, and what minimum standards are required at an EU level with respect to consumer protection and preventing fraud.
The second session, “Conquer opening markets” will allow those present to understand the ins and outs of the regulatory framework in the EU’s newest opening regulated markets. This includes Spain, Denmark and Greece.
Session three, named “Updates on regulated markets” will discuss whether attendees’ businesses are in alignment with the latest legal developments and changes to products to maximise revenue opportunities.
Session four is called “Leading operator case-studies” and will hear from leading operators, including Betfair, Betclic and Betsson. It will go into how they are managing the complexities of multi-jurisdictional licenses; understanding what the Green Paper means to them and their approach to new markets
The final session will be all about Full Tilt and Black Friday. It will assess the fallout from the Full Tilt situation and the Black Friday scandal with those directly involved in the case. It will enable those attending to discover the full impact for the operators involved, the lessons learnt by Regulators and what the long-term implications are for the entire industry
