Hot panel discussion at European Gaming Congress Milan, marketing in regulated markets, moderated by Vasco Albuquerque (All-in Global) Milan – 2 October 2019

Marketing, Brand and Project Manager to moderate a marketing-related panel discussion at European Gaming Congress Milan.

Not a day goes by without news coming out regarding violations of gambling marketing rules. The gambling industry is in a state of uncertainty thanks to a series of changes to legislation and advertising rules all around regulated jurisdictions. In 2019, operators and affiliates have found themselves in endless debates and meetings with the priority of rethinking their approach to marketing.

It is hard to imagine an industry that is much more crowded, competitive and fast-paced than the gambling industry. From retail and online brands to high profile football shirt sponsorships and flashy TV campaigns, gambling marketing is an ever-present part of modern life.

For gambling operators, reacting effectively to changes in advertisement means being able to pivot when challenges emerge.

During the second edition of European Gaming Congress, the organizers (European Gaming Media and Events), are putting together a panel discussion that will focus on the hot topic of effective marketing in regulated markets. Given the location of the conference, there is no doubt that many information will be shared about the Italian advertisement ban on the gambling industry, but the experts of the panel discussion will highlight some of the ways in which you can avoid penalties and how to be compliant in cases in which the bans are in force.

The already confirmed experts of the panel discussion are Ivan Liashenko (Chief Marketing Officer at Parimatch), Quirino Mancini (Partner at Tonucci & Partners) and Francesco Gaziano (Chief Marketing Officer and Country Manager Italy at SKS365).

As mentioned in the title the panel discussion will be moderated by Vasco Albuquerque (SEO Manager at All-in Global), who is an explorer by temperament, always ready to gear up for new challenges. His background reflects the eclectic nature of his career pursuits. He worked in different industries, filling several roles, including Marketing, Brand and Project Manager. Vasco joined All-in Global in 2018, and is currently running the company’s SEO Department.

EGC 2019 will take place in Milan (Italy) on the 8th of November at Radisson Blu Hotel Milan.
