Asia Gaming Brief, producers of the Asia Gaming Awards in association with G2E Asia and The Innovation Group, is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for each of the ten award categories.
All industry stakeholders are invited to submit their nominations for the different categories by clicking on the link available on the website www.asiagamingawards.com. The Judging Panel will also submit their nominations.
The collation of the data received from the Judging Panel and industry stakeholders will facilitate the process of shortlisting nominees for each award category. A total of five nominees per category will be shortlisted for voting.
The final nominees will be scored against five criteria by the industry and the Judging Panel. A list for the esteemed judges of the Asia Gaming Awards can be found here.
Nominations close on 26 April 2016 at 6.00 pm. The shortlisted nominees for each category will be announced shortly afterwards and voting will begin on 3 May 2016.

About the Awards Process
The winners of each category will be selected by the Industry, the Judging Panel and the members of the Organizing Committee. An intensive three step process is being employed to identify the winners in each category, thereby ensuring that the results are fair and independent. Results will be audited by an independent third party.
Step 1: Nominations
The industry is invited to submit their nominations for each category online. The members of the Judging Panel, who are experts in their relevant fields, will also submit their nominations. The Organizing Committee will review the validity of individual nominations for relevance and standing.
Step 2: Shortlists
A total of five nominees will be shortlisted per award category. The shortlisted nominees will be determined by tallying the submissions from the industry stakeholders and the Judging Panel. The Organizing Committee will review and confirm the results. Decisions by the Organizing Committee are final and without appeal.
Step 3: Voting
Voting is private and confidential. Judges will not be aware on which Awards their peers have been selected to vote. Industry stakeholders are also invited to vote in any and all Award categories. Stringent measures are being employed to ensure a transparent and fair voting process. Results will be audited by an independent third party.
Awards Ceremony
The winners will only be announced at the Awards Ceremony, taking place on the evening of Tuesday, 17 May 2016.
About the Award Categories
Best Casino Operator
A highly coveted award, the winner of this category will be determined based on achievements in the areas of corporate governance and best practices, financial performance, strategy, vision and implementation, as well as brand recognition and loyalty as a casino operator.
Nominees must be have licensed casino operators in Asia Pacific.
Best Integrated Resort
As competition continues apace across Asia, casinos are being encouraged and mandated to provide more than just gambling as a form of entertainment. This award recognizes the best overall offering and performance of an integrated resort. Nominees will be judged on the diversity of entertainment options, quality of F&B and retail offerings, and mix of revenue streams.
Nominees are Integrated Resort properties in Asia Pacific.
Best Casino Design
So many factors contribute to the appeal of a casino, from its layout to its proximity to other amenities, to its Feng Shui. This award will be attributed to the casino that most resonates with the market from an architectural, construction and design perspective and how the sum of the elements has added value to the property’s performance and success.
Nominees are construction, architecture and design firms submitting on behalf of licensed gaming operators in Asia Pacific.
Best Table Games Supplier
This award recognizes the supplier who has played a key role in enhancing the casino table games experience factoring in product added value and reliability, service and support, functionality, customer experience and revenue generation.
Nominees are manufacturers and suppliers of traditional table games/ equipment for operations in Asia Pacific.
Best Electronic Game Manufacturer
This award recognizes the supplier which embodies the best offer in their field for slot machines, electronic gaming machines and automated electronic table games, factoring in product added value and reliability, service and support, functionality, customer experience and revenue generation.
Nominees are manufacturers and suppliers of slots, EGMs and ETGs for operations in Asia Pacific.
Best Industry Supplier
This competitive category is open to manufacturers and suppliers in both the landbased and digital arenas. It recognizes and acknowledges the contribution of a supplier that stands for the quality of its products and memorable services that help operators thrive.
This category covers both land based and online suppliers to the industry in Asia Pacific.
Best Online Operator
All online sectors are covered by this award including online casinos, sportsbooks, eSports, social gaming, DFS and financial trading. The judges will be looking for a company that has set itself apart with the consistent use of innovation in product offerings, marketing and customer service.
Nominees are licensed online providers of sports betting, casino, social games and other betting products in Asia Pacific.
Best Online Supplier
Expected to be a highly competitive category, judges will be looking for a company that is leading the way in product development, innovation, reporting and customer support. The category is not limited to games, but will include all online products and platforms that serve to improve the customer experience.
Nominees are suppliers of platforms, games, payment solutions, all software to the industry in Asia Pacific.
Best Mobile Solution
This award covers everything from a platform, game, provider, app or solution for mobile offerings. It recognizes any feature or innovation that has been introduced or improved in this sector during the past year.
Nominees are providers of mobile platforms, games, apps or solutions for the industry in Asia Pacific.
Outstanding Contribution in the Field of Innovation
Encompassing land based and digital products, suppliers and service providers, this category is wide open for any product or innovation. Creativity and innovation are key factors in long term sustainability and success. The winner of this category will have to stand out from the crowd.
Nominees are innovative products or services used by operations in Asia Pacific.
Special recognition of Young Leaders under 40 in Asian Gaming
This award recognizes and rewards the outstanding people that help to move the industry forward, guiding their company on the road to success by anticipating and reacting to trends. The judging panel will select a number of impressive individuals who they believe represent the future leaders of the Asian gaming industry.
