WorldPay, a leading global provider of payment and risk services, has announced a contract with Betable, a UK-based real-money gaming (RMG) platform. Betable provides the license, support and infrastructure that allow developers to integrate real-money gaming into their own mobile and social games.
The partnership between the two companies integrates WorldPay’s payment processing, fraud detection and risk services into Betable’s RMG development platform and player-facing Betable Wallet.
“Betable is the only platform that provides game developers with the unprecedented opportunity to offer real-money play within their own games,” said Shane Happach, Chief Commercial Officer, WorldPay.
The company believes players will experience the benefits of the “innovative” RMG on the betable platform. Game Developers are said to enjoy the speed and safety of WorldPay’s functionality.
“Powering Betable’s services with WorldPay’s payment processing functionality assures developers that when their users opt to play their games for real-money their transaction success will be maximized,” Happach added.
Betable’s Chief Revenue Officer, Ryan Linton, says that the value of integrating WorldPay’s services and Betable Wallet is “enormous” and that they are “giving their partners the tools they need to deliver the best possible real-money gaming experience to their players.”
With the integration between WorldPay and Betable, players in regulated jurisdictions can deposit funds into their Betable wallets through most payment methods. Betable provides developers access to the $32b online gambling market by allowing developers to offer real-money play in their own games and provide players with security, player location and identity verification.
