Understanding social gaming has become the latest craze in the online gambling industry today, across the globe. San Francisco, or more specifically Silicon Valley, is the epicenter of Social Gaming and the location of the next Social Gambling Meetup.
iGaming Business has arranged their first Meetup outside of the UK on Monday, April 22nd at San Francisco’s Kells Bar.
“San Francisco is the home of social gaming and new technologies so we have been wanting to have a Meetup here for a while”, said Shona O’Donnell, iGaming Business’s Head of Operations. “As some of the iGaming Business team will be at GiGSE and ScS it was the perfect opportunity to reach out to the industry on its own doorstep.”
In addition to networking opportunities, guests will enjoy complimentary drinks courtesy of Alderney EGambling Ltd and two speakers on the night, Brock Pierce of Playsino and Stuart Tilly of Social Gambling Association.
When asked why social gaming is such an exciting space at the moment, Pierce told CalvinAyre.com, “Not only is social gambling a phenomenal business in it’s own right but I see social gambling as the low cost gateway to real money user acquisition. These two trends combined with markets like Facebook and the US slowly opening up make it an extremely exciting place to be!”

In closing O’Donnell added, “Our Meetups and conferences in London have so far met with great success and we are confident that this one will be well received.
