Tribal-owned GEObet Network has announced they’ll be hosting a conference specifically geared towards iGaming later this month. The network is hosting the Oklahoma Tribes & GEObet iGaming Conference on Feb. 18 as it aims to give tribal interests valuable advice on the industry and what kind of benefits they can expect to draw from it. The conference will be made up of panels and Q&A sessions with the keynote speech delivered by Bernard Shepherd, CEO of the Northern Bear Casino, which is the first real-money North American online tribal casino.
Gerry Gionet, founder of the GEObet Network added: “This conference offers a tremendous opportunity for tribal casino groups to hear from industry experts as well as share ideas and business strategies when it comes to making the important move into the world of iGaming. We expect a strong turnout from the Tribes of Oklahoma and also from the neighboring states. We are extending this invitation to all tribal and first nations groups across USA and Canada.”
Amaya Gaming Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with Bally Technologies that will give the latter access to the recently purchased Ongame Poker Platform. The deal allows Bally to integrate the Ongame poker and casino solution onto their iGaming platform and give them a ready-made solution ready for when any number of US states open up their online gambling markets.
Bally Technologies’ Vice President of Business Development John Connelly commented: “Ongame is a world leader in the online poker space and we are excited to incorporate their best-in-class offering into the Bally iGaming platform. This relationship further validates the current transformation within the online gaming sector, which integrates traditional and online casino systems, allowing casino operators to protect their data, while offering their customers Best in Class content.”
