Atlantis releases tribal online gaming service

tribal gaming networkTribal gaming firm Atlantis Internet Group Corp (ATIG) has launched a new product that it claims is the USA’s “first form of legal Intranet gaming.” The Tribal Gaming Network (TGN) is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission and announced that Coushatta Indian Casino in Louisiana and the Coyote Valley Casino in California are the first two venues to benefit from the technology.

The technology utilized by the new system will be from “some of the world’s most prominent gaming vendors” and it includes various Class III and Class II games as well as online ones. It will include Table Games, Nationwide Poker, Simulated Sportsbook, Live Online Dealer, Slots and only the second Powerball-like Lotto product.

ATIG President and CEO Donald L. Bailey said, “We have a huge leg up on the competition, having mastered play-for-fun marketing sites since 2003. Now, based on the NIGC opinion, to date ATIG is the only gaming company that can legally offer online linking games other than bingo, nationwide for live cash, such as poker and progressive jackpots. This is a new technology that has never been offered in the gaming Industry before today.

When inside one of the venues offering the service you can use it on Slots, Kiosks, Android phone and tablets as well as some games being available on Apple’s iPhone.

“It’s the next generation of server-based technology; in short, it’s a casino within a casino,” Bailey added.

The news comes after the Wire Act was amended back in December and it’s hardly a surprise that tribal interests are looking to take advantage. Seeing as it’s seemingly only available on tribal land it remains to be seen how successful it ends up being.
