There is only one event per year dedicated to the success of women in the gaming industry. The Women in Gaming Conference & Awards was born in 2010 and the second awards ceremony has just finished at the Jumeirah Carlton Hotel in London.
Tonight over one hundred industry women and their biggest male supporters gathered for cocktails, awards, a three course meal and music while enjoying an extremely rare 90:1 female to male ratio.
The evening kicked off with pink champagne and networking before a quick and painless award ceremony to recognize some of the most outstanding female professionals in gaming.
A three course dinner followed the awards and the absolute highlight of the meal was the amazing white chocolate mouse with passion fruit jelly that everyone was gushing about, including the approximately ten males in attendance. To top off the evening, a band with a Latin twist lit up the stage and their salsa-esque tunes encouraged a couple of lovely ladies to hit the dance floor.
CalvinAyre.com would like to extend a big congrats to all the award recipients…and to the female population in general who should win one giant award for putting up with the men in this industry of ours!
