The Israel Sports Betting Board (ISBB) is getting set to offer its citizens an expanded legal sports betting offering. The ISBB intends to issue an international tender for constructing an advanced online sports betting platform.
Like everyone else, the ISBB has seen how valuable an income resource online sports betting can be and they’re making sure they don’t miss the boat. As such the goal of the ISBB is to put forth a friendly, modern sportsbetting website for its punters. The tender will be open for companies that specialize in developing betting platforms, constructing active sports betting websites and simultaneously offering risk management and marketing systems along with mobile phone betting applications.
The ISBB has been activating online sports betting for the past five years through a centralized online system which simultaneously offers offline betting to 1600 point-of-sales. The new online sports betting platform is expected to be separated from all offline systems. The revenue potential simply could no longer be overlooked by the ISBB which took in 8 percent of its income equating to $400M USD in 2009 from online betting.
