PokerStars has added yet another big name to their roster with the signing of Theo Jorgenson to Team PokerStars Pro.
As the newest brand ambassador for PokerStars, Theo will make his debut by hosting the Nordic Championship of Online Poker.
The Nordic Championship of Online Poker is a brand-new PokerStars tournament series that gives players the opportunity to prove they are the top dogs in their area. The tournament runs from November 4-14, with 11 events and a guaranteed prize pool of $700,000. Only players that live in Norway, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Iceland, Åland Islands, Faroe Islands and Greenland can take participate. Aside from having some of the most beautiful women in the world, Scandinavians love themselves some online poker.
With Theo Jorgenson being a Danish pro, he’s the perfect selection by PokerStars to host this event. Jorgenson’s poker accomplishments include wins at the 2010 World Poker Tour Grand Prix de Paris for $848,736 and at the 2008 World Series of Poker Europe pot-limit Omaha event for $394,150. Also on Jorgensen resume is 30th place finish at the WSOP main event and two European Poker Tour final tables.
