EPO PartyI think I can speak for the crowd when I say that we all learned a lesson last night at the EPO Opening Party at Movida sponsored by RakeTheRake.com…you will be hung over the next day playing poker!

Everyone had a great time at Modiva last night. The RakeTheRake.com team attracted a crowd of EPO players from around the world, most notably the Hungarian boys who were on the search for girls from any country, the guys from Switzerland with the very thick accents, the Americans, Canadians, Polish, Irish, and, of course, the typical English piss heads. In addition to EPO players there were models, magicians, igaming industry friends from Party Gaming, Bodog, SportingBet, Red Hot Poker, PKR, Full Tilt, iGaming Business, and more, sports personalities, and poker pros such as Robert Williamson III, Keith Gipson, Andrew Robl, Durrr, and the beautiful Liv Boeree.

The celebration took place in the VIP section of Movida and everyone got bombed seeing as the bar completely open for all guests, that is, until the general public poured in at 11pm. While everyone got their drink on, there were interviews happening in front of the media wall, a magician doing card tricks that would blow anyone’s mind, general Karim entertainment, great music, dancing, and star struck poker players who gathered around the pros for an intro and a picture.

Of course the night did not end at Movida…a rather large group of poker pros snuck off to the very exclusive Jalouse for a VIP table later in the evening, and seeing as I pass the club on my walk home, I thought I’d pop in for a drink. Ya, bad idea.
