iGB Affiliate Awards accepting nominations

IGB Leading events organiser and publisher iGaming Business (iGB) has announced that nominations are now being accepted for the next edition of its iGB Affiliate Awards, which is scheduled to take place in advance of the annual London Affiliate Conference 2011.

The fourth annual iGB Affiliate Awards will take place on January 27 at The Brewery in the City Of London with iGB stating that the gala evening is the only to recognise the hard work and dedication of the iGaming affiliate community.

This year’s iGB Affiliate Awards have been revamped to offer an even better experience for those taking part, be they a nominee or not, with recommendations now being accepted for the Best Affiliate Manager and Best Affiliate Programme prizes alongside the best affiliate for the bingo, poker, sportsbook and non-traditional gaming categories as well as overall. In a change from last year’s event, there will also be prizes given out for the Best iGaming Affiliate Network, Best Payment System For Affiliates, Best iGaming Community, Best Newcomer: Operator, Best Newcomer: Affiliate and, finally, Best Innovation.

“After listening to feedback from the industry, we have changed the nominations and voting process,” said Alex Pratt from iGB.

“It’s important to us that the iGB Affiliate Awards really celebrate the innovation and hard work of the people in this industry.”

iGB revealed that the number of categories had been reduced from 23 to 14 in order to allow for a ‘more comprehensive and transparent judging structure’ while ensuring that the ‘integrity of the Awards is upheld’.

“It truly is a wonderful thing to walk away with an iGB Affiliate Award,” said Renee Mate from Rewards Affiliates.

“Knowing that you were voted as the best is the most amazing feeling in the world because you know it comes straight from the people you work with and that your hard work is being appreciated.”

In another change to last year’s event, iGB is giving attendees the chance to vote on which comedian will entertain them at The Brewery.

“We want to make this night the very best it can be and one way to do that is a great venue and a great compere and who better to decide who makes them laugh than the industry itself,” said Kiera Goymour, Events Manager for iGB.

iGB stated that its iGB Affiliate Awards now feature something for everyone alongside even more opportunities to acknowledge the work of the often unsung affiliates themselves with nominations being accepted at www.iGBAffiliateAwards.com.
